Visual design note
Monument Valley
Architecture as interface and subject
What the visual system communicates
Monument Valley makes perspective, negative space and impossible geometry part of the puzzle language. Pastel surfaces are restrained enough for paths and moving architectural parts to remain prominent.
Each scene behaves like a composed editorial spread: the environment teaches where to look, while camera and motion reveal relationships that a static plan cannot show.
On a small screen
Direct manipulation and chapter-sized scenes translate the architectural idea into focused touch interactions.
Typical session structure: Chapter checkpoints. This is an editorial description of pacing, not a measured time claim; sessions vary with play style and current product version.
